Well, Aunt Bucky is an aunt again! This time is a lovely little fellow who has a big smile and already wants to stand up at the little ole’ age of 3 months!
She recently told us that she went shopping for little boy’s clothes under the age of 6 months and was surprised to find how limiting selections were when it came to little boy trousers. She agrees with all of us, lots of cute tees but the pants department is just too overstocked with knit pants. She was tired of seeing all the little boys in mini track suit like trousers and decided to take matters into her own hand!
She scoured through her collection of heavy cotton/corduroy fabrics and spent many long nights sewing away so her new little nephew would have some nice sturdy trousers to wear with the adorable tees she bought from various retail shops.
Corduroy, Corduroy oh how cute you are! Aunt Bucky has a wonderful collection of corduroy fabrics and this black + white houndstooth is just too darn cute. Elastic waist and rolled up legs will do just fine for now on her little wee one nephew-he can wear these a long time and be a big hit with all the fashionistas!
Brushed Denim what a wonderful fabric and so cute made into sturdy trousers for a little boy! Self colored Star appliques reinforce the knee area for little guys that crawl around a lot and look supah cute too!
Aunt Bucky is in love with this heavy denim fabric that is the most amazing turquoise color! This sturdy denim doesn’t need knee patches but these self colored Star appliques are the cutest embellishments we have seen in a long long time on a pair of Baby Boy Trousers!
Oh boy nothing like a pair of dungarees for a little tiny boy baby! Gosh, this heavy dark dungaree denim fabric is one of Aunt Bucky’s all time great finds! Little pockets are just too cute for words!
Hope you enjoyed Aunt Bucky’s lastest sewing binge-Baby Boy Trousers!
